Project Overview

Its core waterscape features a 170 ㎡ large interactive dry fountain equipped with multiple DC24V submersible pumps. A single pump can drive up to six nozzles, substantially cutting overall project costs. Leveraging natural terrain, a three-tier stone cascade waterscape is built on the north side of the square, with linear running water flowing continuously down the tiers to create a dynamic-static contrast with the dry fountain.

The dry fountain requires no water storage basin and features smooth, barrier-free pavement, allowing children to walk through and play in the water at close range. At night, RGB lights illuminate the fountain jets and cascade water walls simultaneously, cooling the public space while enriching the urban nightscape.

The entire waterscape system adopts low-voltage DC submersible pumps, delivering safe operation and low energy consumption. This project stands as a municipal benchmark in France’s old town renovation for the combined design of dry fountain and tiered cascades.
